CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CCAP)
The goal of this program is to provide access to quality child care allowing parents to work, attend education and training programs. CCAP provides funding to assist families with free or reduced tuition for their child when enroll in a participating Childcare program. Harvest is please to offer this program to parents.

MADISON COUNTY EARLY CHILDHOOD ALLIANCE
Harvest is please to be a charter member of the Alliance. The goal of the Alliance is to develop relationships among educators in both the public and private sectors to better prepare children for kindergarten and success in life.

EARLY HEAD START
Harvest is excited about joining forces with the Early Head Start (EHS) Program in Madison County. We consider it a blessing and a privilege to be able to partner with a program whose emphasis is on helping families with young children to achieve success in life. EHS programs embrace children’s growth and development that is measured by improved literacy skills, improved positive approaches toward learning, attention and cognitive skills, improved social behavior and emotional well-being, & improved physical health and development.

STARS FOR KIDS NOW
Harvest has been awarded a 2-STAR rating by the Child Care Council of Kentucky. STARS for KIDS NOW is a voluntary rating system for licensed and certified Child Care providers.

All STAR levels surpass the minimum licensing requirements, that all centers must meet. Each Center is assessed in the following critical areas: staff/child ratios, group size, curriculum, parent involvement, training/education of staff, regulatory compliance, and personnel
practices.

FEDERALLY FUNDED FOOD PROGRAM
Harvest is please to offer USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program administered by the KY Department of Education, which plays a vital role in improving the quality ofday care. Through this program nutritious meals and snacks are served to all children at NO charge to enrolled participants at the center and are provided without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. Participants must complete enrollment and income application with documentation of eligibility information (food stamps or K-TAP number).
